The River Venn can be enjoyed in various parts of the village, especially the Streamside Garden and the bridge from the Square to the churchyard.  Its longest stretch passes along the southern edge of the Glebe Field with access to the banks to enjoy river sights and sounds, plus its trout, otters and kingfishers. The Riverbank team has been formed to improve access to the riverbank and to enhance its biodiversity. The group also do regular river clean-ups (discarded plastic etc.) and checks on water quality.  Wild flowers have been planted including snowdrops, bluebells and daffodils.

Benches, sponsored by our local community, have been installed for visitors to sit and enjoy.
